Organizational announcement - changes in Region North

There will be changes to the Unilabs Management team and to organizational set-up and leadership for Region North.
Effective 1 September, Lars Jorgensen will assume a new role as Group Regional Director East. His new area of responsibility will cover Czech Republic and Slovakia along with continued strong leadership for Denmark and the UK. In his new role, Lars will also take the lead on developing new markets in Eastern Europe and to drive future business opportunities. Lars continues to be a member of the UMT and report to Michiel Boehmer.
 
Lars joined Unilabs in 2016 as General Manager Laboratory North. He then became head of Region North and interim held the GM roles for Sweden and Norway. During his tenure and under his leadership for the five countries in the Region; Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK and Finland, Lars has successfully taken the region to a position of strength. There has been fantastic overall growth, both in terms of organic growth as in acquiring new business.  Lars has brought numerous new senior talents on board in all countries and secured strong succession for the Region North leadership role. As a business leader, Lars will make the impossible possible, he has tenacity, creativity and courage to drive change and to get results. He is and endless visionary & enthusiastic person who will find innovative new solutions and ways to solve problems – always with a business opportunity in mind.

Based on above changes a new Region North is formed. The new Region North now covers Sweden, Norway & Finland and the new Region North Director will be Rannveig Krane who currently is the GM for Norway. 
 
We are very happy to welcome Rannveig into the role. She is an experienced leader and joined us from Orkla Health in February 2018 where she held the role as Country manager for Norway. Since starting in Unilabs, Rannveig has together with her team delivered impressive results not only on the financial performance dimension but also on the people dimension.  She has built a strong high performing leadership team and enabled the organization to develop and grow. She will continue to lead the team in Norway as well as taking on the new regional responsibility. Rannveig will from 1 September be a member of the Unilabs Management team and report to Michiel Boehmer.
