Thomas Lindahl, Medical Director at Unilabs Sweden, reflects about the learnings he has faced in his work, after 1 year with the pandemic.

The biggest lessons after 1 year leading the organization and the medical team through this time is that the pandemic did put our organization under stress. I believe that rising to this challenge has improved how we work together. I´ve been very impressed with how agile and adaptable our teams have taken on the many challenges during this last year.

Unilabs has played a key role in Sweden in the fight against Corona by making high quality testing for Covid-19 accessible In high volumes. And almost equally important is our success in keeping our other diagnostic services available to Swedish healthcare, without sacrificing safety for our patients or staff.

Going forward - at Unilabs we will continue to build on our improved teamwork and keeping our ability to quickly respond to change.
